Rémi Bouhaniche

After completing a BTS (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur) in Product Design, Rémi Bou Haniche enrolled in 2004 at ESADSE (École Supérieure d’Art et de Design de Saint-Étienne), where he developed a personal approach based on drawing, formal research, and materials.

Between 2007 and 2008, he spent a semester studying at the Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Bangalore, India—an experience that would have a significant impact on his work. With a clear focus on design that prioritizes the senses and gesture, he created the Étirement lamp in 2009, which won the Pure Talent Contest in January 2010 at the IMM Cologne fair.
