In 2009, he joined FABRICA, the renowned communication research center of Benetton in Italy, where he collaborated with design icons such as Benetton itself and Zanotta. This experience inspired him to establish his own studio in 2010, beginning a career marked by international exploration, with chapters in London, Berlin, Paris, Budapest, and now Lisbon. Gonçalo is known for finding unexpected solutions, combining materials and production methods to create imaginative and distinctive pieces. Blending charm with pragmatism, he collaborates with international brands in furniture design and consultancy, developing work that is both functional and, at times, surprising.
